Solidarité
BTP
Portal website for Solidarité BTP, an umbrella brand bringing together five social protection and support organizations for the construction industry in Guadeloupe, French Guiana and Martinique.
The project
How do you make construction-industry social protection clearer for employees and companies in Guadeloupe, French Guiana and Martinique?
The challenge
Construction industry organizations deal with essential matters, but their services are often hard for beneficiaries to identify.
Paid leave, supplementary pensions, training, risk prevention, workforce integration: each organization has its own scope, its own website and its own tools. This setup can make the journey complicated for employees, employers and people looking to join the industry.
The challenge was to create a shared front door without erasing the identity of the partner organizations. The website had to remain neutral, educational and clear enough to point each user to the right organization.
It also had to speak to varied audiences.

The solution
Bitwip designed a mobile-first portal website organized around users’ needs.
The home page segments audiences and gives quick access to relevant information. Thematic pages present Solidarité BTP’s main areas of activity.
Each organization then has its own presentation space that highlights its services and redirects visitors to its website or business tools.
The project also includes:
- structuring the site architecture;
- designing the user experience;
- creating the brand identity, then applying it to the website;
- creating a news system the team can manage;
- news sorted by theme and by territory;
- a contact form that routes to the right contact person;
- an SEO approach built around services and territories;
- legal pages and a scalable technical structure.
The goal is not to replace the partner organizations, but to build bridges between them.
The results
The project lays the foundations for a shared portal for construction industry social protection and support organizations in Guadeloupe, French Guiana and Martinique.
In particular, the website makes it possible to:
- make the range of services easier to understand;
- simplify guidance for employees and companies;
- bring the industry’s key information together;
- preserve each partner organization’s identity;
- make existing websites and business tools easier to access;
- better showcase the construction industry’s work in each territory;
- have an editorial foundation that can host regular news.
