The project
How do you show that a single platform brings together machines of every brand and every generation?
The challenge
Mobapi is a vendor-independent industrial monitoring platform. It brings equipment of every brand and generation together on a single screen, including older equipment and equipment at remote sites, along with the readings teams take on their rounds.
Born at Bitwip in Cayenne out of a research and development project, Mobapi has become an independent startup. It began as an API platform, then the product narrowed its focus to industrial monitoring, as close to the machines as possible. The new website had to say so from its very first line.
The challenge: convince operators, maintenance teams and energy managers, whose first question is whether it works with their machines, without losing the old site’s URLs or its existing search rankings.
The solution
Bitwip designed a predominantly light website, whereas none of the competing sites we studied opens on a light background. Each section opens with the reader’s question, and the site structure follows job roles: Operations, Maintenance, Energy, then the Mixed fleets, Rounds and shift log, Platform and Compatibility pages, where visitors look up their equipment or protocol.
The project includes:
- a study of competing websites;
- site structure and copy, in French and English;

The results
The website is live at mobapi.com.
