GDI One Guiana
For Guyane Développement Innovation (GDI), we gave shape to One Guiana, the Guiana Shield innovation network: a space at the VivaTech trade show, a trilingual website, a brochure and social media posts.
The project
How do you give a face to an innovation network linking French Guiana, Suriname, Guyana and northern Brazil?
The challenge
Guyane Développement Innovation (GDI) supports the projects that are transforming French Guiana’s economy. With One Guiana, the agency is thinking bigger: a network of incubators and accelerators across the entire Guiana Shield, from French Guiana to Suriname, Guyana and northern Brazil.
This idea needed a face, first at an international trade show, then online. In front of audiences who don’t share a language and have little sense of where the region is.
Objectives:
- make One Guiana understood in a few seconds;
- show the geography of the Guiana Shield;
- make support organizations want to join the network;
- speak French, English and Portuguese.

The solution
For the VivaTech trade show, we designed the One Guiana space, with a map of the region. Then the banner, the video presenting the concept, and the social media posts.
We then built the One Guiana website, on a single page. It lays out the mission, key figures, vision, actions, milestones, portfolio and agency. First in English, then in French and Portuguese.
Around the website:
- a presentation brochure;
- the network’s communications strategy;
- carousels on the Guiana Shield’s priority sectors.
The results
The One Guiana website is live in French, English and Portuguese. A support organization can read about the network’s mission, actions and milestones, then find the button to join.
One Guiana now has:
- a one-page website in three languages;
- a map that places the Guiana Shield at a glance;
- a presentation brochure;
- a communications strategy;
- posts in the network’s colors.
GDI also entrusted us with the Guyane Energy Challenge, its hackathon.
